Joe (Joseph William) Flood died Memorial Day Weekend of 1991. He was Dave's youngest brother and the two of them had developed a close brotherly bond as adults. Four years later, Memorial Day Weekend of 1995, Joseph William Flood was born, a wonderful surprise and named out of Dave's love for Joe.
