In the water!

So you can see Jayson in this shot mere seconds before he nearly tipped Joel right out of his kayak and you can see Brian's taking one for the team by using a canoe paddle because he lent his to Joseph since we couldn't find ours.

Finally! Starting the trip-Yay!

Getting in the water

I thought this was a perfect place to launch the kayaks but once they got down there it was like a four foot drop to the water! So back up they came to find a better place.

Flood Family 2

Audrey (my daughter-in-law!) has made a blog for the Adventures of her and DAvid-very aptly named "Flood Family 2" !  She has done a great job of making their blog mirror their whimsical personalities and the adventures they are having in this very serious institution of Marriage :-)

Clayton and Joel keep going!

Clayton and Joel still on their Badfish Creek adventure -by the Cooksville bridge. They're the only two left - the others had all they could take. I think there was a lot of portaging through the state wildlife area.

Labor Day Adventure

Dave getting the canoe and kayaks ready to go in the start of Badfish Creek. 4th kayak is just behind me. Clayton, Jayson, Nate, Joel are in the kayaks and Dave and Joseph are in the canoe.
